The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three suspected members of an armed robbery and carjacking syndicate operating in the Alakuko area of the state.
The suspects, identified as 20-year-old Faruk Rasheed, 28-year-old Olamilekan Ademola and 21-year-old Abidemi Oluwawemo, were arrested by police operatives following credible intelligence, the Command said.

She said the recovered weapons comprised two locally made pistols loaded with five cartridges and one locally made revolver pistol loaded with three rounds of 9mm ammunition.
“The suspects are currently in police custody, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend other members of the syndicate,” Adebesi said.
