The Oyo State Police Command has launched a manhunt for the abductors of Bishop Reverend Aderogba of Jebba Diocese, Kwara State, his wife, and driver.
According to the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), a Superintendent of Police (SP), Adewale Osifeso, preliminary investigations had revealed that the victim’s car developed what seemed a mechanical fault while traveling from Yewa, Ogun State to Jebba, Kwara State enroute an isolated area along New Oyo/Ogbomoso Expressway.
The PPRO also explained that the abduction of the Bishop was reported to the command by Reverend Adekunle Adeluwa.
His words: “On 12th June 2022, at 10:PM, one Reverend Adekunle Adeluwa reported to the Command through an incident report at Atiba Divisional Police Headquarters, Oyo town that about 8:30 PM, one Bishop Rt.
