#Insecurity: Police Officers Recalled Nationwide as Tinubu Orders Security Ramp-Up

-

President Bola Tinubu has directed the recall of thousands of police officers under the “Back to Base” initiative.
According to Sunday Dare, former Minister of Youth and Sports, police authorities have begun implementing the presidential order, redeploying officers across communities nationwide.

The measure is designed to reinforce grassroots security and establish what officials describe as the “first line of civilian defence.”

Observers note that the deployment is part of broader efforts by the Tinubu administration to curb insecurity and restore public confidence in law enforcement.
