Police Professionalism: Enugu CP Conducts Parade Drills For State CID Personnel

-

As part of his commitment to upholding discipline and professionalism, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, today, April 16, 2025, conducted parade drills for officers and men of the State Criminal Investigation Department (State CID).

Addressing the personnel, CP Giwa reaffirmed his zero-tolerance stance against unprofessionalism, extortion, and other corrupt practices. He emphasised that the era of approving frivolous, fictitious, or trumped-up petitions for investigation is over.

The Commissioner charged all personnel in the Department to remain steadfast, diligent, and professional in their duties, warning against illegal arrests, prolonged detention, extortion, and other misconduct. He sternly cautioned that any officer found culpable will face severe disciplinary action.
