RazorNews CEO Lauds Lagos CP Moshood for “Refreshing Transformation” in State Security

-

The CEO and Editor-in-Chief of RazorNews Group, Odita Sunday, has commended the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh Moshood, for significantly improving the security landscape and restoring public confidence in the police force.

Sunday gave the commendation on Monday during a media courtesy visit by the RazorNews Group management team to the Lagos State Command Headquarters.

In his address, the RazorNews chief praised the CP’s leadership, describing it as a “refreshing transformation” for the state. He noted that CP Moshood has brought a “unique blend of discipline, intelligence-led strategy, and compassion to policing.”

“Since you assumed office, Lagos has witnessed… a combination that has not only reduced crime rates but also restored public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force within the State,” Sunday stated.

He highlighted the “tangible decline in major crimes” achieved through proactive policing and strategic deployment under Moshood’s watch. Sunday also praised the CP’s commitment to people-centric policing and community partnerships, which he said have strengthened the relationship between the police and the public.

The media executive specifically commended the Commissioner’s open-door policy and his view of the media as a strategic partner.

“Your recognition of the media as a strategic partner in security management speaks volumes about your understanding of modern policing dynamics, where information, trust, and transparency play pivotal roles,” he said.

Describing the CP as a “silent hero,” Sunday pledged RazorNews Group’s continued collaboration with the command.

“As partners in nation-building, we assure you of our continued collaboration in promoting accurate reportage, security enlightenment, and public trust in law enforcement,” he affirmed, thanking the CP for his “unwavering service to the nation.”
