Series #66: Improving the African Way of Handling Insecurity

-

Insecurity has been with humanity for a long time. Our ancestors faced many dangers and survived them using strong community values, unity, and practical ways of protecting one another.

Today, the situation is more complex. This is why we must improve our African methods of handling security. We need to review them, strengthen them, and make them fit present-day realities.

We should also combine traditional wisdom with modern security approaches. This will help build safer communities where everyone plays a role. Leaders, parents, and young people all have a part to contribute.

We must not ignore what is happening around us. Awareness and responsibility are key. Security starts with how we think and the choices we make every day.

Quote: “Safety is not only what we do, it is how we think every day.”

Just be good. Reflect. Stay alert.
