Series #93: Save and Use Emergency Numbers, They Could Save a Life

-

Every second counts during an emergency. Knowing the right agency to contact can make the difference between life and death. Every resident should save emergency numbers on their phone and keep them in a place where family members can easily access them.

More importantly, these numbers should be used responsibly and only for genuine emergencies.

The public is also encouraged to report crimes and suspicious activities promptly. Avoid spreading unverified information or panic on social media. Whenever possible, confirm incidents through the appropriate security or emergency agency before sharing them. Timely and accurate information helps security agencies respond effectively and prevents the spread of false reports.

A security-conscious individual volunteers useful information to security agencies, keeps emergency contacts readily available, and encourages others to do the same.

Quote: A saved emergency number may one day save your life or the life of someone else.
