Tinted Glass Permit: CP Kebbi Harps On Professionalism, Respect For Human Rights, Civility To Public

The Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello M Sani, had today, Thursday, 2nd October, 2025, held a strategic meeting with the Command’s Senior Police Officers, including Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and Tactical Team Commanders, at the conference hall, state headquarters, Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi.

The meeting was designed to conduct a thorough review of the security architecture of the state, evaluate achievements, and establish new security strategies for the Command.
Similarly, CP Bello M Sani reiterated the importance of professionalism and discipline among Officers, warning against misconduct, such as extortion, incivility to the members of the public, unlawful/over detention of suspects, illegal duties,  entertainment of land matters and respect for human rights while enforcing the tinted glass permit in the state.
He emphasised that adherence to professional standards is crucial for maintaining public trust and confidence and ensuring effective policing.
Consequently, the CP further issued several key directives to Officers, including holding regular stakeholders meetings with a view to understanding community needs and concerns, enhancing Community Policing strategies, intelligence-led Policing, intensifying visibility policing, training and retraining of Officers to curb emerging security challenges.
The CP had commended the diligence, bravery and dedication of the Officers and Men of the Command, acknowledging their hard work and commitment to maintaining peace and security in Kebbi State.
 He emphasised the command’s unwavering commitment to protecting the lives and property of the good people of Kebbi State, urging the public to support the Police operations and report any suspicious movement to the nearest Police Station or other security agencies for prompt response please.
