Train Crushes 50 Yrs Old Man In Lagos

A train has crushed a 50-year-old man in Lagos State.

According to an eyewitness account, the deceased, Emmanuel died after the train crushed him at Arena shopping mall Oshodi.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said that the incident happened on the 12th of October 2024, at about 9:am.

Hundeyin said: “On the 12th of October, 2024, at about 1:33 pm a woman reported at Mosafejo Division that at about 9:am of the same day, she received a phone call that her elder brother Emmanuel, 50, was allegedly crushed by a moving train at arena shopping mall Oshodi.

“Based on the report, the scene was visited and photographed by a team of detectives corpse was evacuated to a public morgue for autopsy meanwhile case was handed over to railway police command Ebute-Metta for further investigation.”
