Troops of Operation HADIN KAI Crush Terrorists in North East, Recover Weapons and Repel ISWAP Drone Assault

-

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have recorded significant successes in recent combat operations across the North East, eliminating dozens of terrorists and recovering a cache of weapons.

According to a statement from the Media Information Officer of Headquarters Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, Sector 1 troops launched a dawn offensive in Bula Dalo on January 28, 2026, where they neutralised more than 12 terrorists.

The operation forced surviving insurgents to flee in disarray, leaving behind four AK-47 rifles, a PKT anti-aircraft gun, a rocket-propelled gun, and a multiple grenade launcher.
In a separate deliberate operation at Garno terrorist camp, Sector 1 troops further weakened insurgent capabilities by neutralising six terrorists, destroying their life-support structures, and seizing a large cache of PKT anti-aircraft ammunition.

Meanwhile, troops of Sector 2 OPHK at Sabon Gari faced a coordinated attack by ISWAP fighters in the early hours of January 29, 2025. The assault, which was supported by multiple armed drones, briefly breached part of the defensive location.

However, the troops swiftly repelled the attack, held their ground, and restored full control with timely reinforcement from nearby units.

The military emphasized that these operations demonstrate its firm control in the region and its continued commitment to degrading terrorist networks and ensuring security in the North East.
