Two arrested for assaulting Inspector, allegedly inflicting injuries on him

The Lagos State Police Public Relations (PPRO), a Superintendent of Police (SP), Benjamin Hundeyin, on 16th September 2022, announced that two men, Ifeanyi Akeme and Chinedu Enyinnaya, have been arrested for assaulting Inspector Rowland Uankhemi and inflicting injuries on him at the Okota area of Lagos State.

Hundeyin said: “At about 7: am, Inspector Rowland Uankhehi was assaulted by the Ifeanyi  Akeme and Chinedu Enyinnaya, a manager of  Ohafia Transport at Cele Bus stop. They both unleashed terror on him when he arrested a recalcitrant motorcycle rider along Okota Road at Cele Bus Stop, Lagos State. The Inspector sustained various injuries before he was rescued meanwhile the suspects arrested are in custody and will be charged accordingly.”
