Two Arrested For Killing Man In Lagos During Squabbling

Two persons,  Paul Digha and Sunday Olukoya have been arrested for allegedly killing 25-year-old Emmanuel during a fight in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin said that the cause of the fight was yet to be determined by Homicide Investigators. Still, the two suspects, Digha and Olukoya are now in police custody.

Hundeyin said: “On the 8th of March 2025, at about 3:33 pm, it was reported at Victoria Island Police Division, that one Emmanuel, 25, allegedly engaged one Paul Digha, 33, and Sunday Olukoya at NPA Road Victoria Island at Harbour Point Off Wilmer Road V/Island  over a yet to be determined issue.

“In the process, the said Emmanuel sustained severe injury. He was rushed to Lagos Island General Hospital Marina for treatment where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty. Based on the report, a team of detectives visited the scene. The hospital was also visited where the corpse was inspected photographed corpse deposited at the hospital’s morgue for autopsy. Meanwhile, the two suspects who engaged the deceased in the fight that led to his death have been arrested and are in police custody investigation.”
