The arrested suspects are, Chubuke Obaduke and Efeanyi Odu. During the police investigation, both suspects explained how they were able to trail the vehicle owner from one of the banks in Sokoto metropolis where he withdrew the sum of N750,000 cash and kept it inside his car.

In addition, a high-level police investigation has been extended to other conspirators especially those that provide accommodation to them and extension benefiting from their loot.

Meanwhile, both suspects have already been profiled and will be charged in court upon completion of the investigation.

The Command is using this medium to inform members of the public to be vigilant, especially at banks’ locations and report any suspicious activities to the nearby policemen.
