Man Bleeds To Death After Knife Attack In Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command on the 10th of March 2025 at about 9:am received a report at Oko-Odo Division that on the same date at about 7:am,  at Bolar site Abule-Egba, one Musa Zayanu stabbed one 25-year-old Mahmud with a knife on the left side of his stomach and as a result of this, the victim bled profusely from the injury sustained and subsequently this led to his death.

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of the Oko-Odo Division, immediately led a team of policemen to the scene of the crime, where photographs of the deceased were taken.

The knife used in the commission of the crime was recovered, while the corpse was evaluated by the Lagos State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit and deposited at Mainland General Hospital Mortuary Yaba for preservation and autopsy.

The suspect and exhibit have been transferred to SCID, Yaba.
