In a viral video, the Pastor in charge of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, spoke directly to those who attempted to assassinate him in the Auchi area of Edo State today, 21st October 2022.
Suleiman recorded the video just hours after an assassination attempt on his life and those of his wife and children.
According to him, seven people were killed in the attack, including his police escorts.
He said: “I’m alive for those who have been calling and all that. I’m well and my family is fine. I feel bad for the lives taken; we are mourning, but Jesus is Lord.”
He also laid a curse on the assassins who opened fire on his convoy, “for the young men, who opened fire and keep wasting lives, I won’t take your lives, but the seed you sow you will reap!”
In the video, Suleiman appears to know the person and persons who sent assassins after him and his family members.
According to him, “People who did this are expecting me to mention their names so that they will come out to deny it. I won’t do that. The truth of the matter is that you can’t kill me. My life is in the hands of God, I’m a man of God.”
He stressed that at the end of the day, the truth would be known.
His words: “I want Nigerians to know that an uncoordinated lie swallows an uncoordinated truth. With time, the truth will come out.”
Below are his words: “I just escaped an assassination attempt, where seven people were killed. My car was attacked …they opened fire on my car and kept spraying bullets and my wife and kid were there.
“They killed policemen in the escort car and those in the other escort car. They killed seven people, we were all moving in a convoy.
“People who did this are expecting me to mention their names so that they would come out to deny it. I won’t do that. The truth of the matter is that you can’t kill me. My life is in the hands of God, I’m a man of God. And those who are among those attacking me, you’re building on what you don’t understand.
“You may jump into the foray, but you don’t know where the fight started. There are things you don’t understand, you don’t know the beginning and you have no idea what happened in 2017 and there are people who are behind it. You may come and you’re doing your own thing, but it is beyond what you’re thinking.
“I’m alive for those who have been calling and all that. I’m well and my family is fine. I feel bad for the lives that had been taken; we are mourning, but Jesus is Lord. For those who are killed may their souls rest in peace and for the young men, who opened fire and keep wasting lives, I won’t take your lives, but the seed you sow you’ll reap! I want Nigerians to know that uncoordinated lies, swallow an uncoordinated truth. With time, the truth will come out.”
