How profuse bleeding of 8 yrs led to arrest of grandpa

The profuse bleeding from the private parts of an eight years old girl has led to the arrest of 84 years old man, described as a paedophile.

The grandpa, Stephen Jack, has been arrested for defiling the eight-year-old survivor in Ogun State.

Jack, who resides in Okun Owa area of Ijebu Ode was arrested following a report lodged at Obalende Divisional Headquarters by the survivor’s father.

The survivor’s father reported that he discovered that his daughter was bleeding from her private part, and when he asked the cause, she fingered Jack.

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of the Obalende Division, a Superintendent of Police (SP) Mr. Murphy Salami, detailed his detectives to the scene, where Jack was arrested.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said: “Preliminary investigation revealed that the old man is a known paedophile in the area. The victim has been taken to the General Hospital, Ijebu Ode for medical treatment. The Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, has directed that the suspect be transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for more investigation and possible prosecution.”
