According to the statement, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, received officials of INEC on a courtesy visit at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.

The INEC delegation was led by the Lagos State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Prof. Abayomi Salami, who congratulated the police commissioner on his appointment and sought continued cooperation from the Command as preparations for the 2027 elections begin to gather momentum.
