The Nigeria Police Force has been plunged into mourning, following the sudden death of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Lawan Tanko Jimeta.
Before his death, Jimeta oversaw Zone 5 Benin, Edo State, comprising Edo, Delta, and Bayelsa states.
The cause of his death is yet unknown. He died on Sunday in Benin.
