The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, has been plunged into mourning, following the death of one of their officers identified as Deputy Commandant of Corps (DCC), Ayodeji Agoro Olugbade.
The command’s Public Relations Officer (CDPRO), ASCI Abolurin Oluwaseun Olumide, said that the funeral arrangements were at Oshogbo Osun State.
According to Olumide, Olugbade, died on 30th April 2022.
He added: “The funeral of the senior officer has been scheduled to hold at the Saint Peters Anglican Church, Erimo – Ijesha, Osun State, by11: am, on Thursday, 12th May 2022. DCC Ayodeji Agoro Olugbade, before his passing away, was the Deputy Commandant in – charge – of Special Duties and Electoral Matters in Lagos State Command. He was also an alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife, in Osun State, where he bagged a Bachelor of Science (BSC) in Accounting in the year 1993. Prior to his demise, he has also served in various capacities, in Osun Command and Ondo Command, before being posted to Lagos State Command.”
The NSCDC Commandant, Eweka Edenabu Douglas Okoro, commiserated with the family of the deceased officer. He also charged the officers and men of the Command to remain forward-thinking, focussed, and cast all their hopes and aspirations on God, especially, in times like this.
