Unregulated accommodation can expose the church, its members, and the surrounding community to avoidable security risks. Criminals may take advantage of such arrangements to conceal their identities, plan unlawful activities, or gather information about the church and its congregation.
Where humanitarian support is necessary, it should follow a structured process that includes proper identification, documentation, responsible supervision, and, where appropriate, collaboration with relevant security agencies and trusted community leaders.
A security-conscious congregation understands that protecting a place of worship also means protecting everyone who gathers there.
