The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has approved the posting of the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Department of Operations, Delta State Command.
The deployment, according to the Force Headquarters, reflects the confidence of the Police leadership in Adejobi’s wealth of experience, professionalism, and capacity to strengthen operational strategies in the Command.
While commending him for his exceptional service as Force Public Relations Officer, the IGP lauded Adejobi’s professionalism, commitment, and remarkable contributions to enhancing the image and communication strategies of the Nigeria Police Force. He expressed optimism that the senior officer would bring the same level of dedication and excellence to his new assignment.
Meanwhile, arrangements are underway for the announcement of a new Force Public Relations Officer.
