Series #68: When Security Escort May Be Necessary

-

A security-conscious individual who understands the prevailing security challenges in the country knows that certain activities require additional safety measures, including the presence of trained security personnel where necessary.

Extra caution should be exercised when visiting remote farms, poultry facilities, forests, isolated properties, or undeveloped land. The same applies to land inspections, site visits, dispute resolution meetings in remote locations, and certain ceremonies that may attract large gatherings or involve travel through high-risk areas.

Professionals such as surveyors, land agents, and others whose work takes them into remote environments should always prioritize their safety, inform trusted contacts of their movements, and make adequate security arrangements before embarking on such assignments.

Quote: “Holding on to outdated security habits in a changing environment can expose one to avoidable risks.”

A security-conscious person plans ahead, assesses potential risks, and takes appropriate measures to ensure personal safety at all times.

Just be good. Reflect. Stay alert.
