Screening exercise of applicants into NP Academy comes up 1st October 2022

The Kebbi State Police Command urged all applicants of Kebbi State origin who have successfully completed their online registration in the ongoing 9th Regular Course intake into the Nigeria Police Academy, that the physical and credentials screening exercise will hold from Monday, 26th September, to Saturday, 1st October 2022, at the Kebbi State Police Command Headquarters, Gwandanji, by 8: am daily.

According to The State’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) a Superintendent of Police, Nafi’u Abubakar, advised applicants to visit www.polac.edu.ng to print out their invitation slips.

Also, all applicants are to report at the screening Centre in their white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory requirements serially arranged in two white office flat files with recent passport photographs: National Identification Card/Slip;   original/photocopy of credentials; Birth certificate or declaration of age; JAMB result print-out; print out of application profile page; Invitation slip; Indigene Certificate; Medical Report from a recognized Government hospital; Character certificate from a village/district head of the applicant; and duly completed guarantor and form.

He further said: “It should be noted that any candidate who fails to present any of the above-mentioned mandatory requirements will not be considered during the exercise. Applicants are unequivocally required to attend the screening exercise on the date clearly stated in their invitation slip.”

The Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Police Command, Ahmed Magaji Kontagora reiterated that the screening exercise was absolutely free of charge and without any financial obligation. He further assures that the process will follow the best tradition of transparency and accountability.

He also advised the applicants to be wary of online impostors, scammers and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the process to dupe the innocent applicants.
